OUR MISSION 

To provide quality CPR and First Aid training to our community and the workplace, as well as Health Care Professionals. We want you to feel confident with the life sustaining skills you learn in our class. We offer a fun and relaxed approach to teaching.

                                    OUR INSTRUCTORS

  Rick and Lorri own and operate Southern Oregon CPR and First Aid, llc. 

​

• Rick is the Senior Captain Paramedic with Jackson County Fire District #4 in Shady Cove. Rick has been involved with Fire/EMS since 1984. When Rick is not at the Fire House or teaching classes he works part-time for a national helicopter company doing air rescue, fires, game capture and power lines. He has been fortunate to be able to travel to many countries doing this.

• Lorri is our main instructor for Southern Oregon CPR. On the days she is not teaching classes she is a active EMT/Volunteer with Jackson County Fire District #4. She has been with the department since 2004. Before that Lorri worked in the medical field in a clinical setting.  

​

•  Taylor Raines is one of our instructors. Taylor was the youngest AHA instructor in the Rogue Valley, starting at 16 years old. In 2014 she got her CNA2 and worked in the hospital in critical/stroke care. When Taylor is not teaching she has a full time job working as a MA for some of the top Orthopedic Surgeons in the Valley.

What sets Southern Oregon CPR apart from other CPR training companies is that ALL of our instructors are active working medical professionals that have done all skills taught in classes on actual patients. This allows us to give you real life experience in your training.
