American Heart Association Basic life Support for Health Care Providers

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course instructs CPR skills for victims of all ages (including providing ventilation with a barrier device), a bag-mask device and oxygen;  use of an automated external defibrillator (AED);  and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction.  This class is intended for participants who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in an out of hospital setting & for certified, or non certified, licensed or non licensed professionals.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:
Healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, medical or nursing students and other people in the health care profession

Course Length: Course Length 4 hours.

American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED Courses​- Meets OSHA/MSHA and AED training requirements.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Heartsaver® First Aid Course provided the skills to effectively access and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of EMS.  The course also provides a corporation with a complete health, and safety training solution for First Aid, CPR and AED.  The Heartsaver® First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies, in the critical first minutes until EMS arrive.  The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for First Aid, CPR, AED, Medical and Environmental Emergencies.


INTENDED AUDIENCE:
Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace.  This course is also for those of you in the community who want to learn First Aid, CPR and AED skills.  Some employers, are required to have their employees take this course to comply with OSHA regulations.  This class is for everyone, corporate employee's, security guards, fishing and hunting guides, airline personnel, etc.

Course Length: 4 hours.

Medic First Aid Bloodborne Pathogens - Meets OSHA/MSHA training requirements for employees who may be at risk of exposure.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
General OSHA standard for bloodborne pathogens training is for anyone with a real potential for occupational exposure.  This course will teach you how to protect yourself from exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Also how to act appropriately when a bloodborne pathogens exposure occurs! How to clean up after a bloodborne pathogens exposure, and how to properly dispose and report any bloodborne pathogens exposures.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:
Designed specifically for the workp[lace health and safety market, who must be trained annually in bloodborne pathogens.

Course Length: 1 - 1.5 hours.

Medic First Aid Oxygen Administration - Meets training guidelines for using emergency oxygen delivery systems.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Oxygen First Aid for emergencies, will provide students with the essential knowledge, and skills necessary to provide emergency oxygen to suddenly ill, or, injured patient, until more advanced medical help can arrive.  We will show you how to integrate the use of emergency oxygen; demonstrate emergency oxygen delivery systems.  How to deliver oxygen for breathing and also non-breathing patient.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  
Designed specifically for the workplace that has access to emergency oxygen.

COURSE LENGTH: 1.5 Hours

Medic First AID Pediatric and Pediatric Plus - To meet licensing requirements, including AED for childcare providers.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This program will help you gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency, using CPR, First Aid, and AED, with infants and children, until more advanced help is available.  Recognizing a medical emergency in children, and  making the decision to help.  Identifying hazards, and ensuring personal safety, of you and the patient.  Foreign body obstruction (FBO).



INTENDED AUDIENCE:
This program is designed for persons who deal with children, such as daycare providers, teen sitters, preschool and after school programs, or anyone who wants to be trained in child and infant CPOR and First Aid.

Course Length: Approximately 4-5 hours.

Medic First AID Basic Plus - Meets OSHA/MSHA and AED training requirements.

This program will help you gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency, using CPR, First Aid, and AED, on adults, children and infants. until more advanced help is available.  Recognizing a medical emergency, and  making the decision to help.  Identifying hazards, and ensuring personal safety, of you and the patient.  Foreign body obstruction (FBO). Medical emergencies and First Aid.



INTENDED AUDIENCE:
This program is designed for general public, home health care providers, electricians, fishing guides or anyone wishing to learn CPR and first aid skills so they can make a difference in an emergency situation.

Course Length: Approximately 4-5 hours.
